About Me

My name is Dr Siobhan Kennedy-Costantini and I’m a Research Fellow and Lecturer at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. I earned my PhD at the University of Queensland, Australia under the guidance of Associate Professor Mark Nielsen.

My primary research interests lie broadly in the field of developmental psychology with a particular focus on the parent-infant relationship and early social development. My current research focuses on modelling infants’ interactive behaviour, social learning and characterising the microdynamics of early social interactions.

You can find a list of my publications here, read about my past research projects here and about my current research here. You can also read more about my work on my Researchgate and Google Scholar profiles.

I am a proud member of the Women in Science Network (WISN) and serve as the Postdoctoral Society representative for the Faculty of Science Equity Committee at the University of Auckland.
